The nice people at Spook gave me a 4 page interview in their opening issue. The mag really looks good and the articles are actually worth reading! Whooho.

This has been an ongoing piece for sometime now. I reckon that there is around 10 other paintings / sketches/ crap underneath what you see here. Ive had this canvas since highschool....which was around 8 years ago.
I started this with intentions of liking it once I was finished....This didn't happen so it's going to be recycled and made into some custom frames for some of my work. Hopefully ill like it then.
This is my lastest piece that im working on. However im putting it on hold for awhile to work on a series of 4 portraits on plywood. Ill post pics of how it all going soon. And also a finished version the 'untitled sneakers' once its done.

In 2007 I had the opportunity of meeting Istivan Orosz. He is an amazing illustrator and uses the technique of anamorphosis. This piece by no means compares to his but was influenced by his work.
Whilst working at Cato Purnell Partners I was asked to illustrate the 2008 theme. It was based around the quote "The mind is like a parachute... it works best when it's open" So it's basically a mutated brain which is half parachute. The illustration was used on all the print and advertising media this included it being varnished onto the hardcover of the book, posters, umbrellas, t-shirts the list goes on....images of the event here were taken from the AGIdeas website. www.agideas.net. I only illustrated the brain and full credit should go to the team at the design foundation for all the graphic design work that was done.
British India's debut album 'Guillotine' was nominated for a triple j album of the year award. Pretty happy were it ended up. Credit to Jonathon Jones for his great photography.
